Description
ZFP has synchronized scrolling ability but it has following prerequisites. • All series to be synchronized must be open in the viewer. • All series to be synchronized must be in the same plane of reference, such as all series being coronal, all series being sagittal, or all series being axial.
ZFP should be able to do synchronized scrolling without any prerequisites like CWEB.
Because... Some reconstruction images don't have information about their image location. - (0020,0032) Image Position (Patient) - (0020,0037) Image Orientation (Patient)
GE MRI generates such images by 'ASL' protocol.
An our customer who is GE MRI and CWEB user replaced their viewer to ZFP. The user dictated such images using synchronized scrolling function on CWEB but they cannot it on ZFP. This is affecting big impact to their workflow. CID06509683-cweb-behavior.mp4 |
I got same request from another hospitals.
In this site, users view CR exams with comparison.
Each CR exam contains some images in one series, each image doesn't have (0020,0032) Image Position (Patient) and (0020,0037) Image Orientation (Patient).
So user cannot synchronized scrolling these exams.
There are lots of IB hospitals which asked enhancement. So far, 14 hpspitals asked it at least. Some hospitals think this is not specification, but defect.
