Request:
Please advise if there is a way to make the “Referring Physician” search field on UVZFP case insensitive for users.
Current situation:
The “Referring Physician” search field requires the input to match the format of the referring doctors name as it appears in ZFP. If the physicians full name is in upper case, it requires the user to enter the information as such. Some physicians names are captured with their full name in uppercase, while others are captured with only the first letter capitalised. E.g. Dr TEST & Dr Test
Current issue:
The difficulty faced by the user is as follows – hospital ward users that access ZFP have filters set up to filter patients imaged at the branch within the hospital. When physicians review patients’ images/reports in the ward, the ward staff want to filter the patients referred by that specific physician for that time. They have multiple physicians & numerous patients so setting up a filter /tab for each physician is not viable. For the ward user to filter the patients they need to input the physicians name with a “*” preceding the physicians name, however they are not aware if the full name needs to be capitalised or only the first letter of the name needs to be capitalised. This causes a trial-and-error approach from the user which delays the physician from reviewing the patients’ radiology results.
