ETP support something like simulated/virtual monitor similar to windows virtual desktops

Example:

Rad opens a study.

The Study loads on Monitor 1 & 2

Radiologists manipulates the images on the monitor 1 & 2

<Rad presses a button simulating turning head to 2 additional monitors say monitor 3 & 4 > PACS retains and hides the layout and images on monitor 1 & 2 and then (Simulated monitor 3 & 4) loads extended layout and viewports for additional priors to be recalled of the current study.

Radiologists manipulates the images on the monitor (Simulated 3 & 4)

<Rad presses a button simulating turning head back to the original first 2 monitors> PACS retains and hides the layout and images on monitor 1 & 2 as Simulated 3 & 4 and recalls the original layout from 1 & 2 just as the radiologists last viewed the images.
