Exporting study and saving as dicom takes a long time

There is slowness in exporting and saving exams in dicom. In a Technologist workstation with 16GB RAM a CT study with ~2000 images will take about 31 minutes to export and save the dicom images to the local workstation. A study that had ~6000 images took over 2 hours to save. This makes the UV workstation unusable while the save is in progress.

Request is to have the code looked and and changed so the export of dicom images is faster, similar to CD burning.
