Keyboard shortcuts to split the viewports into desired format

The use case is for all other modalities / layouts in UV to replicate the current functionality in the native mammo module, whereby configurable keyboard shortcuts can be created that, when depressed, will split the screen accordingly into various states. For example, pressing 'x' on the keyboard will split the screen into 2x1 format or pressing 'z' will split 4x4. This could be either for simply a screen split or, as is the case in NBI, for specific hanging protocol to load.
