Hi Nicole, yeah even Carestream has that option to display a password confirmation prior to approving the report. Even a "Are you sure you want to approve- changes cannot be undone without admin help" dialogue box may help.
Thanks for clarification. If they want to control unitentionally approvals I don't see that configuration on user level. Otherwise each user will deactivate the second confirmation in order not needing 2 clicks instead of one for approval. Therefore I would see it as an institute option. What is that feature in Siemens you mentioned about? Do they need to enter a PW for each approval (or can configure it that way?)
Yes Nicole, something additional (an extra step). Their concern is that users click approve unintentionally and it causes major workflow issues. They would like a confirmation to pop up or even the suggestion of click twice can be implemented.
Could you pls explain the request more detailed? Are you asking for an additional confirmation of approval for each approval? So you need to click twice instead of once to approve? What would be the benefit for the radiologist beside clicking twice?
