Description
Customer has complained that in WFM, when they DICOM send, the Bell notification area shows the DICOM Send "In Progress" even though in the EA console you can clearly see the association failed, therefore the study will not complete. Customer requests the WFM Notification area more accurately reflect errors from the EA such as "Error: Association Failed" rather than staying "In Progress" until the EA marks the send as Failed. |
Agreed Char and thank you for the response. The end user needs that updated information from the dicom send, be it failure or success, often due to a risk and potential delay in patient care if they are dicom sending to another PACS where a Radiologist is reading. Easy access to the EA server is not typically provided to a site admin, unless necessary, let alone a novice user.
EA displays that a try failed between each retry.. WFM only knows in progress until final fail.. would be helpful to have equal knowledge displayed to user.
