Description: CCW has the ability to launch weblinks from the Web icon in the various ribbons/toolbars in the application. Once the link is launched though, the user cannot toggle out of the link and use the CCW application. They have to close the weblink before making any changes on CCW. The customer has requested that there be the ability to toggle between weblink and application. Use case details: Customer wants to be able to toggle between a training page launched from the Web icon to CCW. This would make the training/learning experience much smoother. Feature/Requirement Details: Toggle out of the Web link launched in CCW. |

Thanks for relaying communications from Laura. We can close this as i was informed that our FEs are aware but that the current functionality is limited by the release of new browsers. Hence, why the have left it as opening within a locked instance of CCW.

I have the feeling something can be configured differently… in the attached image on Aha it looks like euroscore is launched from CCW window directly so I assume this is a link from the Web icon on Patient screen, which is very rigid and doesn’t allow much interfaction.
There is one configuration available in Layout Designer to have a button on a form. This allows the web browser to launch automatically so user can toggle from CCW to web as this would open in predefined browser and not on top of CCW. Please ask your apps specialist to contact me for any issues.
I haven’t entered this feature in TFS yet, I think this is misconfiguration therefore Decined

This was raised as a feature request in TFS (number 42632) by our L4. This feature has been declined by product team due to legal and regulatory concerns on replacing our own CCW manuals by customer not approved by our QA department.
We recommend to use web links on the Patient screen instead. This can be done via configuration- please ask Vit or another apps specialist
