AI- to configure non-distribution of AI outcomes to clinical patient viewer

We are confronted with customers who request that AI results will be visible in PACS, but at the same time the possibility to configure non-distribution of the AI outcomes to any clinical and/or patient viewer (which might be non-GE products).

This is a very important – high prio – request that currently jeopardizes project delivery and acceptance.

Good news is, is that a standardized solution for this is already existing in the dicom standards.

Long story short: Every AI vendor is obliged to add an AI-vendor specific UID that can be used for filtering image/series distribution so distribution can be blocked on source side which is best way forward and 100% within dicom standards
