Description
Currently, in the desktop/mobile app, users cannot select, within a Caregroup, all types of IHE standard metadata that may be present in the registry, such as ClassCode and ContentCode. Currently, these values are fixed as part of the xdssubmisison.config, therefore, if these have been defined in the registry as a customer defined codeset, then there is no way to add those values to a submission within Media Manager GUI (caregroup) as a selectable field. It is possible to add the ClassCode and ContentCode as part of the file ingestion rules but this does not give the same flexibility as submission via the app (i.e. caregroup). 3rd party ingestion tools can often support these fields in their ingestion path so Media Manager needs to be aligned. |
Arnaud is correct and please note that file ingestion tool is not a front end application.
We need to have a way in MediaManagerWeb and mobile app to select appropriate class code and type code, as we do for practice setting or confidentiality. It's something that the File Ingestor will do, so it's probably better to be able to do the same within the applications themselves.
