Description
The EA console (both 4.0 and 8.0 ) should offer the customer visibility into the studies rejected due to mismatches. The solution given to us for now is the ability to run the PowerShell script (GetRejectedStudies) to see what has failed which they have used in the past (see C:\GEHC\EA\RejectedStudies). This solution is not practical for most customers and service personnel. |
My thoughts on a Solution using a better PowerShell: The Data Badger EA Archiving Reject on Mismatch Review Tool provides a user-friendly and efficient solution to this problem. Here’s how it can help:
Graphical User Interface (GUI):
The tool offers an intuitive GUI, eliminating the need for customers and service personnel to run complex PowerShell scripts manually.
Users can easily connect to the RSAdmin database and select the desired archive and date range through a few simple clicks.
Real-Time Data Retrieval:
The tool connects to the RSAdmin database and retrieves real-time data on studies rejected due to mismatches.
It displays the data in a structured and visually appealing manner, making it easy for users to analyze and understand the information.
Detailed Information Display:
The tool provides detailed information about each rejected study, including study information, mismatch details, and reject messages.
Users can view the original and new values side by side, highlighting the differences and reasons for rejection.
Export Functionality:
Users can export the reviewed data to CSV files for further analysis or reporting purposes.
This feature ensures that customers and service personnel can easily share and document the information.
Date Range Selection:
The tool allows users to select specific date ranges for reviewing data, providing flexibility and precision in data analysis.
Options include predefined ranges like "Today," "Yesterday," "Last 7 days," and custom date ranges.
Logging and Status Updates:
The tool logs all actions and provides real-time status updates, ensuring transparency and traceability.
Users can view log messages and status information directly within the application.
Benefits:
Ease of Use: The GUI simplifies the process, making it accessible to users with varying technical expertise.
Efficiency: Real-time data retrieval and detailed information display enhance the efficiency of identifying and addressing rejected studies.
Flexibility: The ability to select date ranges and export data provides users with the flexibility to tailor the tool to their specific needs.
Transparency: Logging and status updates ensure that users are always informed about the tool's actions and status.
Great Idea
This would be a very useful feature to have!
Great idea, should be added ASAP.
This should be the highest priority.
