An alternative command-line interface to databases instead of isql

isql is the default sybase command-line tool. It is very basic and lacks modern features. SQLWorkbench/j is an open-source database tool that provides a full-featured command-line experience. Combined with the JTDS driver it allows for communicating with the EA and UV databases as well.

I have built a version that also provides TAB-completion. See the attached powerpoint and demo for my current proof of concept.

As this is a done solution, only upkeep would need to be considered. My additions to the open source product could be submitted to be added to the codebase, thus reducing our future burden even more.
